Custom Courses
The Silverton Avalanche School prides itself in developing custom courses. One of our most recent examples took place in Spring 2010 for Airforce Pararescue Specialty Jumpers. We developed a custom course that met all of the alpine rescue technique requirements for their Career Field Education and Training Plan (CFETP) as well as the American Avalanche Association's Level I avalanche course requirements.
We've also provided courses for a railroad maintenance of way crew, executives, college groups and outdoor clubs.
